Most contractor sites are quietly broken

Not ugly. Broken. The contact address bounces. The domain never resolved. The gallery is stock photos of somebody else's kitchen. I find what is actually wrong, fix it, and wire up the jobs you keep doing by hand.

The check

I look before I pitch

Before I say a word about building anything, I run your site through the same checks a customer's browser and mail server run. It takes about a minute and it costs you nothing. This is the pattern I hit most often.

Runs on your real domain, right now. Nothing is stored and nobody is contacted. A dozen checks a minute from one connection, so it cannot be used as a free scanner.

Domain check
dig contact-domain status: NXDOMAIN no such domain is registered check mail records MX: none every message to this address bounces fetch homepage 200 OK site loads, contact route is dead
Broken The email on the contact page points at a domain nobody owns. The site looks fine and loads fine. Every quote request sent through that address bounces back to the sender, and nobody finds out. What it costs you Somebody asks you for a quote by email. It bounces. You never see it, they never hear back, and they call the next contractor on the list.
Broken The project gallery is stock photography. Other people's work on a page selling your own, while your real jobs sit unused on a phone. What it costs you Anyone who has seen that photo on three other sites stops believing the rest of the page, and your actual work is the only thing that would have won the job.
Broken The city is never named. Not on the home page, not on services. Nothing for a local search to hold onto. What it costs you When somebody nearby searches your trade plus your town, there is nothing on the page for Google to match, so you are not in the list they choose from.
Fixed The address is the cheap one to fix. That one is free and I will tell you how to do it yourself. The rest is what I build. What it costs you Nothing, once it is done. It is a DNS record and about ten minutes with whoever sold you the domain.

Work

Built around your work

Your jobs and your phone number up front, not a stock photo of somebody else's kitchen.

Most contractor sites undersell the outfit. If you run every trade in house, the site should say so on the first screen, with photos of your jobs instead of somebody else's kitchen. People hire the crew they can see.

Automation

The site is half of it

A website that just sits there is a brochure. The other half is the plumbing behind it: the small jobs you keep doing by hand, wired up so they do themselves. Everything below is running in production right now on the platform I built for over a hundred church websites. Same plumbing, different trade.

When Someone fills out your quote form The moment they hit send, at 9pm, on a Sunday.
Then It reaches you in seconds, formatted and complete Name, job, address, phone, what they wrote. Sent from a real address that does not land in spam. No portal to log into. Running in production
When You need something changed on the site New service, new hours, a price that moved, a typo.
Then You email it in plain words and it gets made No dashboard, no login, no ticket. Write the change the way you would say it out loud. It comes back to you as a proposed edit you approve with one click before anything touches the live site. Running in production
When Every morning Before the first coffee, before the first call.
Then One message with what actually needs you New leads, quotes nobody has answered, anything on the site that broke overnight. One list. If there is nothing, you do not get a message. Running in production
When A lead goes quiet Estimate sent, then nothing, and you are on a roof.
Then A follow-up text goes out from your number Paced like a person, not a blast. Stops the moment they reply. You never have to remember who you owe a nudge. Built, not yet run for a contractor
When Whatever your business keeps doing by hand The thing you do every week that nobody ever wrote down.
Then That gets built too The five above are just the ones already wired up. Scheduling, invoices, permits, material orders, crew check-ins, whatever it is. Describe it in a text and I will tell you straight whether it is worth automating or whether you are better off leaving it alone. Tell me what it is

None of this is a product you log into and configure. I build the wiring for your business, it runs, and you get the results where you already look.

How it goes

How it works

STEP 01

I run the check

Free, and you get the results whether or not you hire me. If nothing is wrong I will tell you that too.

STEP 02

You see the number

You see exactly what it costs, plainly, before anything starts. No surprises, no games.

And nothing is due while I prove it works. The first stretch is on me, so you can see the results before you pay a dime.

STEP 03

It goes live

Your domain stays yours, and there is no lock-in. If it is not working for you, you walk. No contract, cancel anytime.

Straight answers

Questions contractors ask

What does the free check look at?

I run your site through the same checks a customer's browser and mail server run: your domain, your mail records and whether your contact route actually reaches you. It takes about a minute and it costs you nothing.

Do I have to hire you to get the results?

No. You get the results whether or not you hire me. If nothing is wrong I will tell you that too.

What does it cost?

You see exactly what it costs, plainly, before anything starts. Nothing is due while I prove it works. The first stretch is on me, so you can see the results before you pay.

Is there a contract?

No contract, cancel anytime. Your domain stays yours, and there is no lock-in. If it is not working for you, you walk.

Who do you work with, and where?

Contractors. I am one person in El Paso, Texas, not a call center, and I work with businesses in El Paso, Denver and remotely.

What can you automate besides the website?

The small jobs you keep doing by hand: job photos from Instagram or Facebook into your site gallery, quote form alerts, site edits by plain email, and a morning digest of leads and anything that broke.

What is the fastest way to reach you?

Text (915) 345-2220 with your company name. I will run the check and text you back what I find. No call required, no meeting to book.

Talk to me

Text is fastest

Send me your company name and I will run the check and text you back what I find. No call required, no meeting to book.

If you would rather know who you are dealing with first, call that same number. It is a real person in El Paso, not a call center, and the address is at the bottom of this page.
